On the 5th of September a conference organised by Ergodynamics took place in Hotel New York. The participants were representatives of large organisations and health and welfare services. They evaluated the conference by a big 8. Leo van Deursen presented his new book “talking about lower backpain” and Dan le Fay (picture) gave his vision on our perception of reality. Van Deursen emphasised the enlargement of the insight of patients in their complaints. He also indicated that when a patient has already suffered from back problems, this is an important prediction of new problems. People that have suffered from back problems before need to prevent these problems from occurring again. This can be achieved by movement, also while sitting. Dan le Fay appealed to the participants to influence their surroundings to the maximum in supporting employees that suffer from backpain.
Offering innovative solutions like the products of Ergodynamics requires conviction, strength and belief in the functioning of these products. The majority of the participants stated that action needs to be taken in an early stage with backpain. The functioning and use of RCPM was also subscribed by them, also because of their practical experience. The formal part was followed by an animated discussion at the beautiful bar of hotel New York.
